Confused about the wedding menu? Are you wondering in vain which supplier to choose and which food will suit all guests? In the resort, you will find verified suppliers who will be happy to advise you on everything and put together a menu exactly as you imagine. But if you decide that the menu will be your concern and the task of the suppliers will only be to cook, we have 5 points for you to think about when compiling the wedding menu.

Season

Are you having a winter or summer wedding? The menu for these seasons should be different. We love traditional sirloin, but who would eat it on a hot summer day? In summer, we recommend choosing lighter dishes, supplemented with seasonal foods. In autumn, it can be, for example, plums, from which you can conjure up a great fresh sauce for dark meats.

Wedding theme

Have you chosen a wedding theme or do you have a common hobby? The theme should not only be reflected in the decoration, but also in the wedding menu. Every piece of the wedding should tell a story about the two of you. If you are a passionate fisherman, we definitely recommend choosing the fish menu.

Guest preferences

At this point, we don’t mean that your guests should talk you into putting together a wedding menu, but don’t forget their preferences and diets. It is necessary to remember your lactose-free cousin, the vegetarian aunt from the second knee, and inform the supplier in time about these exceptions.

Budget

A point that is obvious to everyone, but it is good to be reminded of it. The wedding reception swallows a large part of the wedding menu. So, if you know exactly how much you have for the wedding menu, you need to take this into account and compile the menu accordingly. A banquet can also be a great alternative if the wedding ceremony and festivities take place in the afternoon.

Get advice and communicate

Whether it’s your loved ones, members of the wedding team or suppliers, if you don’t know what to do, ask for advice. Your suppliers have probably done hundreds of weddings and know exactly what’s right when you’re fumbling. Also, do not forget to communicate with the suppliers, ask questions that may arise during the preparations.
